The Foundation will support the Scenic Rivers Development Alliance in their mission and efforts to sell southwest Mississippi to the world as an ideal destination for business investment and job creation.

The location, access, diverse economic base and quality of life will all contribute to the efforts in marketing southwest Mississippi.

 

2. Product Development & Infrastructure

Success in recruiting and current business expansion is directly related to the Alliance’s ability to develop sites, parks, shell buildings and infrastructure. The Foundation will help with input to expand the region’s infrastructure.

 

3. Community Visioning Process

It is important to be proactive in creating and supporting a community of excellence that fosters economic development growth. The Foundation will bring members of the local construction, building, banking, medical, housing and educational industries to the table to best utilize the area’s talents to formulate and support economic development plans.
